One day summer camp for the children upto 14 Years - 2009

The Ladies Wing of New Bengal Club as an annual ritual had organized a Summer Camp for children on 06th June 2009 at the club’s premises. The idea behind organizing such camps has been to give our children, an opportunity to learn and develop skills besides the academic orientation. The Ladies Wing Managing Committee members took it upon themselves in right earnest to ensure that the camp was a resounding success.

The camp saw active participation of children from members as well as non members. A total of twenty eight children took part in the camp.

The children enjoyed the camp and their enthusiastic response made the Ladies Wing members happy and satisfied with their efforts

The areas covered in this year’s summer camp were in two categories:

Gr.I - 4 Years to 9 Years

Different techniques of painting and paper folding

Faculty
  • Ms. Chanda Sen Majumdar & Ms. Anagha Borwankar
  • Time : 10 to 4:30
  • The children were asked to carry pencil, earser, scissor, scale, crayons, small plastic bowl & drinking water.

Gr.II - 10+ Years

Gel candle making and paper quilling

Faculty
  • Ms. Maryann Hendricks
  • Time : 10 to 4:30
  • The children were asked to carry pencil, pen, earser, scissor, scale, water colour or poster colour, small plastic bowl & drinking water.

Fees

The fee for the summer camp was fixed at Rs.125/- per head for children of members and Rs.150/- per head for children of non members. The above fees besides course material also included lunch.
