NBC is committed to it's social welfare programs.Prithviraj Hindi Vidyalaya (Madhyamik), Nalpada, is a partly aided school where students from econmically weaker section study.
We have been associated with this school since 2016, as a part of our social service at school level, and donate yearly requirement of 'Long Notebooks' to student of classes VIII to X every year, besides other need based items occasionally like ceiling fans, chairs, table, etc.
Today (25.06.2022) morning, through a small function arranged by the school authority, we handed over the set of 'long notebooks' to each student in presence of Principal and concerned teachers.
The happy faces of recipient students made all of us very happy too. On behalf of the students, a student came forward and expressed deepest thanks to NBC for the assistance and encouragement.
Principal and a Teacher also expressed their appreciation & gratitude, and thanked NBC President and the team for this kind gesture every year.
Club President Mr Abhijit Chatterjee, in his address highlighted about the commitments of New Bengal Club towards social activities and assured the teachers about the contnuity of this service to the school as long as feasible.
It was a very satisfying event today. We are thankful to the members who attended to make the event successful.
