Mrs Laxmi Biswas of NBC is selected for bravery award

Hope all of you must have read the 7th page of today's Mumbai Mirror.

Mrs. Laxmi Biswas was robbed on Saturday 14th August night at gun point. She has shown tremendous presence of mind and examplary courage to save her elderly husband and herself from death( though she was severely beaten).

Mr. A.K. Chatterjee (NBC) talked to her after reading the news paper and praised her and told her that this is the true example of courage on the part of an Indian woman.

Mrs Laxmi Biswas is selected for the bravery award which will be telecast by Sony TV on Sunday 23rd January at 7pm.

We would also like to keep you informed that 16th August 2010 evening NBC members visited the home of Biswas and rendered their moral support and also congratulated the elderly couple for their examplary courage.

Couple of Letters:
We are really proud to understand the courage and bravery on the part of a senior citizen, At the same time much care is needed to safeguard such incidence in future.

I really appreciate Laxmi Boudi about her presence of mind and her daring to tackle two robbers which has helped to save her and her husband's life. Indeed she deserves to get the bravery award.
