TMC, MCHI , Times of India (Thane Plus), Kasber Dance Academy and the Ma Niketan group jointly organized a Felicitation and Awards ceremony for all societies, gardens and Puja Mandals who are conscious about conservation of the environment and take adequate precaution by using ecofriendly material and processes, etc. The event was held on the evening of January 8th, in the Maa Niketan Campus.
New Bengal Club was awarded the prestigious "Go Green Memento" citation for consistently using eco-friendly Durga Idols in all our Pujos.
On behalf of NBC, two of our members; Mr. SK Sen, Mr. N.C.Deb and I attended the programme. To share this special moment, I am attaching a couple of photographs(clicked by my wife) of the citation and the event respectively.
