New Bengal Club(NBC) is an 11 year old non-profit socio-cultural organization working towards the growth of socio-cultural scenario in and around Thane. For the past 11 years NBC has organized many competitions like drawing, singing, football and quiz.

New Bengal Club’s 3rd INTER SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION for schools in and around Thane was held on the auspicious occasion being the 150th birth anniversery of great saint and philosopher Swami Vivekananda.

Participating schools: The schools taking part in this event were Arunodaya, DAV, Little Flower, Lodha world, Lokpuram, Nalanda(Mulund), NHPS(Airoli), Saraswati, St. John and St. Xaviers.

The Contest: There were 2 groups of 4 each from students of GROUP A: 6th- 7thstd, GROUP B: 8th-9th Std . Total 9 teams participated .There were three rounds . ROUND 1: Know your state(clue food item)normal, audio and video. ROUND 2: Guess a word. (Test of language skill) Describe the word but in the description 2 words being TABOO. 5 teams were eliminated.ROUND 3 : PART A (Test of creativity using colours to depict cover page of a book), PART B (Rapid fire - testing overall academic and non-academic knowledge).

The Quiz Master: This spectacular quiz competition was conducted by Ms Krisha Mehta who is undoubtedly a brilliant quiz master

The winners got trophies, merit certificates and cash prizes. All the participants were given gifts from FILA and snack box from MONGINIS. There were certificates for each participant too as all the teams did there school proud
