New Bengal Club Logo

• It was an evening of May 2002. Eight like minded persons from different walks of life but with a common vision, decided to do something different with their spare time. A shape was given to a social body and a club was formed with name “New Bengal “.
• It was envisaged that the name and the logo would signify an evolution of new era. The brightness of colour would make a statement on the spirit and transparency that the club would behold. The first step towards that was starting the club with Registration under Maharashtra Charitable Trust Act.
• The objectives were simple and ambitious. Bring like minded Bengali speaking people under one roof.To stand by each other in hour of need. To foster a sence of pride and euphemism in our future generation.
• This rubbed off with many others and the organization grew at a brisk pace. The Eight member team now stands at One Hundred and Fifty three in a span of 4 years and 3 months. Fellow NBCians, as we are popularly known, spans from Khopat, Pokhran II road to Vijay Nagari in Thane. From Dadar to Vashi. Members who have moved to distant places such as Delhi, Gurgaon, have also stayed in the hearts.

Today the club boast of its own premise in prime locality of Thane and a strong, evergrowing list of members.

So now as the Club march towards future, it aspires to bring in the generation next into its fold through a Youth wing that will unhurl the passion which NBCians dreamt in its journey towards a fulfillment of human aspiration, love and bondage.
