Rabindra Jayanti Celebration
NBC, on 9th May'22 evening, paid tribute to Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore on his 161st birth anniversary in NBC Club room after a two year's hiatus, through a small yet beautiful impromptu cultural programme.
Beautiful rendition of Tagore's songs, recition of his poems, talks and storey-telling about him, touched everyone's heart. Violin playing 'Amar mukti aloy aloy...' added an additional flavour. Seniors' presesence and their participations made the programme graceful.
The programme started with opening remarks by LW President and ended with a beautiful chorus song 'Prano bhoriye trisha horiye' followed by delicious snacks.
The programme was organised by NBC Ladies' Wing.
