NBC “Monsoon Cultural Programme-2015” was held on 25th July’15 evening at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Mini Auditorium, Thane in a glittering function in front of a capacity crowd.
Programme started with lighting the traditional lamp by Chief guest, President and Secretary of the club along with Ladies’ Wing representatives.
Students were felicitated for excellence in academic & other fields:
In the beginning Meritorious children of our club members, who excelled in Std-X and Std-XII Board Exams this year, were felicitated by the club and were awarded with a Trophy & Gift vouchers by academician Mr. D.K.Ghosh, Ex-Vice Chancellor of D.Y.Patil University , Navi Mumbai, who happens to be our member also.
Besides, children from other fields were also felicitated for their recognised excellence. Students who were felicitated for excellence in academic & other fields are as follows:

The first part of day’s attraction “Barsha Mangal” Dance Drama started then, presented by the lady members of our club and their children. This, a compilation of Tagore’s poems and variety of songs directed by Jhuma Dutta, was a short programme par excellence.

Lastly the main attraction of the evening was a hilarious drama – Shailesh Guha Niyogi’s “Boudir Biye” presented by the club members under the direction of Anup Banerjee. It was well enjoyed by the packed audience with laughter and continuous clapping.

Contributory Dinner
After the programme, contributory dinner was arranged for the members at Rs.250/ per head ( Children below 5 years of age no charge).
Those interested to have dinner were requested to enroll their names at the earliest and asked to collect their dinner coupons at the entrance of the Mini Auditorium before the start of the program.
