On 27 May '18, NBC paid tribute to two legendary poets of Bengal, Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore and Bidrohi kobi Kazi Nazrul Islam, through a beautifully designed cultural programme amidst a very good gathering.
The programme started with lighting the auspicious lamp by club Prez Abhijit Chatterjee, past Prez Samir Dhar & Anup Banerjee, Ladies' Wing Prez Rupa Ghatak and LW Secy Monika Sarkar.
The nice opening song of the programme, a Rabindra sangeet, was presented by Sanjukta Ghosh Maity.
Then followed the small programme by kids Kochikachar Chhoda enjoyed by all.

This was followed by the main programme, a Nritya-Geeti Aalekhya: Akei Brinte Duti Kusum, presented beautifully by performing artists of the club. The last item of this musical extravaganza was a unique spectacular one comprising songs, poem & dance, which remains praiseworthy.
The programme ended with vote of thanks by past Prez. Samir Dhar, who thanked each & every artist & musician of the entire programme, persons who helped from behind the scene to make things happen, and all other associated persons for the programme's grand success. Finally, he also thanked the enthusiastic audience for their presence on time to watch the programme in spite of ongoing IPL final match.
Tea & snacks were served to all.
