NBC Thane - The Happening Bengali Club of Thane, celebrated the winning of WB Govt.'s prestigious award for Best Durga Puja 2016 "Biswa Bangla Sharad Samman Award", at Lokpuram Central Park on 11.02.2017 evening with a musical entertainment program by popular singer Risabh & his musicians.
The Trophy, which was presented by Hon'ble Chief Minister of WB Ms. Mamata Banerjee, and photographs were on display for viewing by member families.
Club President Dipak Sengupta thanked all the members for their active support to help reach our Durga Puja celebration to such greater height winning the award. He requested members for continuous and increased support in future also to help win more awards
The program ended with a sumptuous complimentary dinner
A special request was made to all members to park their vehicles on both side of Gladys Alvarez Road near Lokeshwar Mandir as there is no parking facility inside Lokpuram
