The enthralling 'NBC Monsoon Cultural Program' was presented by club members on July 23rd 2016 evening at Dr Kashinath Ghanekar auditorium, Thane in front of packed audience.
Programme started with lighting the traditional lamp by Chief guest, President and Secretary of the club along with Ladies’ Wing representatives.
The program started with “Barsha Diner Gaan” - a 'Nritya-Geeti Alekhya' based on monsoon theme with modern songs & dance. The aptly chosen songs well sung by singers and appropriate dance styles of elegant dancers with bright costumes, made the program lively.

The prizes were given away by our 'Guest of Honour' Mr Lucky Mukherji, an eminent theatre personality of Mumbai; along with club Prez Mr Dipak Sengupta & founder Prez Mr Ashim Chatterjee.
Mr Lucky Mukherji was welcomed on stage and felicitated by Ushashi Dutta with flower bouquet and a memento as a token of regard for his love towards us & NBC.
Next followed the hilarious play (natok) "Madhureno" presented by club members. The play is written by Lucky Mukherji.
At the end of the play, the playwright Mr Lucky Mukherji, an eminent actor-director; was called on stage who appreciated the show overall but especially the debutants with encouraging words.
All the participants of the program were presented a memento.
This time post program contributory 'Buffet' dinner was not planned, but instead of the same, 'packed chicken biriyani' was arranged as 'take away' costing Rs.160/- per unit (for one person).
A humble request was made to all our members, those who have booked take away dinner pack for tomorrow's program, to collect their coupon while entering the Mini Auditorium.
