NBC Saraswati Puja was celebrated with much enthusiasm on 29.01.2020 (Wed) at Central Park, Lokpuram, Thane (W).
Even being a week day, impressive crowd gathered in the morning to attend the puja & pushpanjali besides a few with kids for 'Haate Khori' (initiation of writing on a slate with the blessings of Goddess Saraswati).
Large crowd gathered in the evening for the Sandhya Arati. This was followed by a small cultural program with songs, dance, recitation and story telling. The entire program was nicely organised, scripted & anchored by Mou Dutta introducing few new performers to NBC audience.

Alok Dey Sarkar, Seema Lahiri, Debashish Sarkar, Sarmistha Bhattacharjee, Meera Sarkar, Ruma Paul, Anup Banerjee, Anindita Chakraborty, Sachi Chatterjee, Suparna Gangopadhyay, Rakhi Chanda Monika Sarkar & Jhuma Dutta. Vice President of the club, Ashis Sarkar, gave vote of thanks while concluding the program.
This was followed by scrumptious dinner for all the devotees.
After 'darpan bisarjan and dodhikarma', the immersion took place on 30th at about 11.30 am.
Dr (Mrs) Sumitra Ganguli, donated Rs.50,000/- towards Saraswati Puja in loving memory of Dr B N Ganguli. We all are very much thankful for this indeed.
