NBC organizes major traditional festivals like Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja, and Saraswati Puja. Our Pandals are famous for grand Durgotsav celebrations featuring unique artistic themes year after year.
Few well acclaimed pandals (replica) to mention are as follows: Akshardham Temple, Kolkata Dakshineswar Kali Temple, ISKCON Temple - Mayapur, BMC Headquarter - Mumbai, Mumbai Asiatic Library, Coochbehar Royal Palace - WB.
Our Club is not only well known for the innovative pandal designs, but also perpetual eco-friendly divine Devi idols.
Our idol of Devi Durga, made of Shola by President Award winner artist 'Shilp-Guru' Shri Ananta Malakar in the year 2007, has been preserved in the Mumbai Museum (CSMVS). Besides, Devi Idols made by talented award winning sculptor of Kolkata and other eminent artists also earned all round praise.

Every year at our Durga Puja, we welcome 10,000 to 15,000 devotees to accept Bhog Prasad - a free community meal served with joy, irrespective of caste, creed or religion.
Children from Ma Niketan orphanage are treated as special guests and served on 100% biodegradable plates. Our Puja embodies a spirit of oneness, joy, gaiety, and piety.
In 2026, to celebrate our Silver Jubilee Durgotsav, we shall be replicating the ‘Hawa Mahal’ of Jaipur, Rajasthan, as the abode of Goddess Durga. A Keychain with Silver Jubilee logo will be presented to all patrons as a small token of gratitude to mark 25th year.

Durga Puja 2026The year 2026 marks a historic milestone for us – the Silver Jubilee (25th Year) of our club and Sharadiya Durga Puja celebrations, to be held from 14th to 20th October, 2026 at Upvan Lake Ground, Thane (W).

For the second time, we were invited to participate in Thane's prestigious "Sanskruti Art Festival -Thane" in 2025 at Virasat Stage with a cultural programme which gave us a special recognition in Thane.

Year 2020, during the peak COVID period – Donated Ration and Home-made food to the needy families (daily wage earners) who have lost their jobs during the pandemic and not able to afford the cost of the Hospitalisation for the COVID affected people.
During the peak COVID period our Club’s Ladies wing reached out to the migrant labours’ camp and distributed Free Ration to them.
Year 2019 theme was – “ ZERO Wastage” - one more social responsibility which should be spread amongst all the people.
Year 2018 Durga Puja theme was –“Beat Plastic Pollution, Be Environment Friendly”. This was our effort in support of the Government of Maharashtra's appeal to make Maharashtra Plastic and Thermocol free. We are 100% eco friendly now.
