New Bengal Club (NBC), Thane was established in May 2002 by a group of like-minded individuals with a shared commitment to community, culture and social service. Within a few months of its formation, many more members joined, transforming the initiative into an active and vibrant socio-cultural organisation.
Since its inception, NBC has grown significantly and has established itself as a prominent socio-cultural organisation in Thane. The Club is duly registered under the Maharashtra Charitable Trust Act and functions as a non-profit socio-cultural organisation.
For more than two decades, NBC has contributed to Thane's socio-cultural landscape through a wide range of religious, cultural, educational, charitable and community-oriented initiatives.
Read Our Full StoryNBC organizes major traditional festivals like Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja, and Saraswati Puja. Our Pandals are famous for grand Durgotsav celebrations featuring unique artistic themes year after year.
In 2026, to celebrate our Silver Jubilee Durgotsav, we shall be replicating the ‘Hawa Mahal’ of Jaipur, Rajasthan, as the abode of Goddess Durga. A Keychain with Silver Jubilee logo will be presented to all patrons as a small token of gratitude to mark 25th year.

Durga Puja 2026Our Durga Puja cultural programmes have always been illuminated by eminent artists besides emerging talents.
Eminent singers like Kumar Sanu, Shaan, Javed Ali, Amit Kumar, Usha Uthup, Sadhna Sargam, Palak Muchhal, Arati Mukherjee, etc. graced the NBC stage during Durga Puja in various years.
Our various awareness programmes, seminars, workshops, blood donation camps, educational & sports activities, inter-school quiz contests; annual visits to orphanages, old age homes, schools for special children; donation of school stationeries to poor students, raising funds and extending financial help to needy people under critical medical ailments & natural calamities are some of the multifarious works undertaken by us.

To create a spacious campus in Thane comprising of Cancer Rehabilitation Centre, Meditation Centre, Dispensary, Sports Turf, and a Durga Mandir - a place where healing, wellness, and community converge under divine protection.
